The difference between the so-called "Tao" and "Tian Dao" concepts is that "Tian Dao" only runs between the heaven and earth after the universe was created, and "Tao" plays an important role from the occurrence of the universe to the operation of the universe after its generation. . "Dao" is the main birth, "Tian Dao" is the main player, the world is born by "Dao", the root of "Dao" is hidden before the occurrence of "Tao", "Tao" initiates the occurrence of heaven and earth and generates heaven and earth, so Laozi said "Dao Shengyi, "One life, two life, three life, three life". The most basic characteristic of the Tao is nothing, there is something generated through movement changes, and some are generated from nothing, and nothing is the most basic matter of the Tao, the mother of heaven and earth. Based on nothing, there is nothing out of nothing, there is no transformation, emphasizing that everything in the universe is material and possibly quantifiable, and the essence of matter is generated by nothing. Therefore, the tangible matter that has been generated must abide by the moral rules, there is nothing, there is nothing, there is nothing at the highest level, and the essence of nothing is there. 「道」為宇宙的本體，天地運行的主導，道生天地故其「可以為天下母」。「道」之含義為道之根、道之乾和道之實三者的集合。所謂的「道」與「天道」概念的區別，就在於「天道」只運行於宇宙生成之後的天地之間，而「道」從宇宙發生直到宇宙生成後的運行，都在起着重要的作用。「道」主生，「天道」主運，天地由「道」所生，「道」之根隱伏於天地發生之前，「道」啟動了天地的發生並生成天地，因此老子說「道生一，一生二，二生三，三生萬物」。道最基本的特點是無，通過運動變化產生有，有是從無中生成的，無是最基本的道物質，是天地之母。以無為基，無中生有，有無轉化，強調宇宙萬物都是物質的、可能量化的，物質的本質是無的物質生成的。因此已經生成的有形物質必須遵從道德規則，有從無，無生有，有的最高層次是無，無的本質是有。
